In a push to accelerate growth, Safer Society Group appoints Carl Kistenmacher as Board Chair and Pelle Garå as CEO
Gothenburg, Sweden (September 22, 2020): Safer Society Group today announced the appointment of Carl Kistenmacher as Chairman of its Board of Directors and Pelle Garå as CEO. Before assuming their new roles, Mr. Kistenmacher was Managing Director at the global private equity firm EQT Partners, and Mr. Garå was Deputy CEO of Griffeye. Together, these appointments signify an intense focus on accelerated growth for Safer Society Group and its three subsidiary companies, NetClean, Griffeye and Paliscope.
During his +11-year tenure at EQT, Mr. Kistenmacher used his sharp business acumen and extensive knowledge of corporate governance to help promising companies become sustainable and successful on a global scale. As Chairman of the Safer Society Group Board of Directors, he will apply his competence to help create and implement aggressive, individualised growth strategies for NetClean, Griffeye and Paliscope, with the goal of enabling each company to rapidly achieve its full potential.

As his first order of business as Chairman, Mr. Kistenmacher appointed Pelle Garå as CEO of Safer Society Group, an action that was met with universal approval within the company.
